Presidency Foundation Skill Development Centre hosted its 5th Graduation Day Ceremony at the Beary’s Welfare Association Auditorium on February 22, 2025. 290 students were felicitated who completed their training under various programs for the year 2024.

The event started with the auspicious lamp lighting by Mr. Salman Ahmed, Trustee, Presidency Foundation; Mr. Shaik Mahmood, Regional Director, NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation); Sri Atur Chaiyyaba, Chief Administration Officer, Beary’s Welfare Association; and Mr. Sameet Joshi, Head—Presidency Foundation. The event was also attended by many NGOs, which included members from DON BOSCO, Hope Foundation, Sarvadnya Foundation, Milat Foundation & Unnati Foundation. Mr. Salman Ahmed, in his welcome speech, spoke about the Foundation’s plan to set up new centres in other parts of the city and congratulated the students and wished them a bright future. Mr. Shaik Mahmood briefed the audience on various programs offered by NSDC, such as NSDC International, NAPS (National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme), and Skill India online programs.

The inauguration was followed by the graduation certificate distribution, which began with a video that included glimpses of the previous graduation ceremony and students sharing their transformative experience at the foundation, which changed their lives. The event also included cultural performances by students. Mr. Sameet Joshi gave a vote of thanks and appreciated the Centre staff and students for their efforts in making this event a success.
